What
A spiral continuum of emotional and spiritual development in four stages: Domination → Need to be Loved → Love & Protect → Repent & Forgive. It describes how a person's basic orientation matures from control over others, through dependence on approval, to protective love, and finally to reconciliation and forgiveness.
What for
Orients the coach to the client's moral/spiritual stage and next step.
How it's used
The coach locates the client's current centre of gravity on the continuum and orients the work to the next step — never two stages ahead. A client operating from Domination is not coached toward forgiveness first; they are coached toward experiencing connection. The model protects the coach from moralising: each stage is a stage, not a character flaw, and movement happens step by step.
