3 Levels of Mastery (Cognitive · Emotional · Physical)
L2.1 Explanatory ModelsWhy insight alone never holds
What
The model that any real change must be mastered on three levels: cognitive (I understand it), emotional (I feel its truth), and physical (my body can do it under pressure). A change that exists on only one level decays.
What for
Explains why intellectual insight alone doesn't hold.
How it's used
The coach uses the three levels both as a design principle and as a quality check. Design: every intervention should touch head, heart and body — explanation alone is never the end of the work. Check: when a client says 'I know I shouldn't react like this, but I do' the change is cognitive only; the coach then adds emotional intensity and physical conditioning until the new pattern is embodied. This model is the rationale behind the system's insistence on repetition, intensity and physiology.
Content
Level 1: Cognitive — intellectual understanding Level 2: Emotional — felt conviction with real intensity Level 3: Physical — embodied competence, available under stress Quality check: 'I know it but I don't do it' = change stuck at level 1
