What
Tony's division of life into three arenas — Self, Relationships, and Work/Mission — each with its own dynamics, rewards and expression of the 6 Human Needs. The same person can be masterful in one sphere and completely stuck in another, because each sphere rewards different strategies.
What for
Shows where a pattern expresses and where leverage lives.
How it's used
Used as a fast diagnostic frame: in which sphere does the presenting problem live, and in which sphere does the client already have the resource that is missing? A client who is decisive at work but paralysed in their marriage possesses the capability — it is simply sphere-bound. The coach identifies where a need like Significance is being met (often over-met at work) and where it starves (often in the relationship), then transfers strategies across spheres.
