Maps relationship quality and the growth direction.
How it's used
A progression of relationship quality: Level 1 Selfish Love (own needs first), Level 2 Conditional Love (fair exchange, ‘I give if you give’), Level 3 Unconditional Love. Unconditional love is chosen: the person loves and gives because they enjoy how loving feels, not focused on receiving love back — which is also why it does not depend on certainty about the other’s love.
