Collapse Anchor

Letting a strong state neutralise a weak one

What

An anchoring format in which a strong positive anchor and a weaker negative anchor are fired simultaneously, forcing the two neurological patterns to compete. The stronger (positive) pattern absorbs the weaker one; the old trigger loses its automatic negative response.

What for

Neutralise the negative while the positive dominates.

How it's used

First the coach builds a massively stacked positive anchor — deliberately stronger than the problem state. Then the negative state is lightly anchored, and both anchors are fired together. The nervous system, unable to run both patterns fully, resolves into a mixed and then neutral response. Used for recurring negative reactions to specific triggers — a person, a place, a type of situation. The cardinal rule: the positive anchor must clearly outweigh the negative one, or the collapse runs the wrong way.
