What for

Locate where a person operates to calibrate interventions.

How it's used

Stage model from survival consciousness (L1) to full integration and transcendence (L8): Survival → Victim → Fighter → Coping → Flexibility → Responsibility → Integration → Spiritual. Explains at which level a person is currently operating and what that means for their coaching needs. A coach who can read the level immediately knows where the intervention must begin.
