What
A mapping tool that surveys where in the client's life stress concentrates, and — more importantly — where the sectors interact. Stress is rarely evenly distributed: usually one or two sectors generate load that radiates everywhere, and one intervention placed there outperforms five placed elsewhere.
What for
Find where one intervention has the greatest systemic effect.
How it's used
The coach maps the client's stress across life sectors and looks for the radiating source: the money worry that poisons the marriage that ruins the sleep that wrecks the work. The intervention is then aimed at the generator sector, not at each symptom separately. Used to prioritise coaching focus and to show the client that they don't have ten problems — they have one problem with nine echoes.
