Guided Visualization / Trance
L5 Micro-InterventionsWorking below the analytical radar
What
Guided Visualization and light trance are facilitated inner journeys in a relaxed, inwardly focused state: the analytical mind quiets, imagery and suggestion reach deeper layers, and outcomes can be rehearsed and integrated where behaviour is actually generated.
What for
Rehearse outcomes and integrate change below analytical awareness.
How it's used
The coach induces relaxation (breath, voice, progressive release), then guides imagery in service of the session's goal: meeting the future self, rehearsing the new pattern in vivid scenarios, revisiting resources, integrating a breakthrough. Language is permissive and open ('perhaps you notice…'), letting the client's own system fill in the content. Used to consolidate change at the end of deep sessions and as a standalone practice clients take home as audio.
Content
Induction: relaxation, breath, inward focus — the analytical mind steps back Guided imagery: future self, rehearsal scenarios, resource journeys Permissive Milton-style language lets the client's system supply the content Prime uses: integration after breakthroughs, take-home audio practice
